I’ve talked about this before. The unconscious mind cannot understand negatives. Hence, rather than thinking about the negatives in your life think about the positives. If you want to change something you don’t like, think about what you like.
Let’s use weight management as an example for all change:
Rather than weight loss use the term weight control or weight management. This suggestion is subtle and has to do with the negative connotation of the word loss. Typically, when we lose something we do not stop until we have found it again. Hence, we are all experts at weight loss and then we gain all those lost pounds back and then some additional ones.
